PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing 4,4',6-trihydroxyaurone and liposome of phosphatidyl ethanol amine and phosphatidyl choline for skin whitening is provided. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin whitening contains 4,4',6-trihydroxyaurone as an active ingredient and liposome having a phosphatidyl ethanol amine and phosphatidyl choline. The phosphatidyl choline has 12-24 carbon atoms. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of skin, lotion, eye cream, essence, cleansing cream, cleansing lotion, pack, body lotion, body cream, body essence, gel, or cream.
