PURPOSE: A thermo acoustic generation apparatus and a method acoustic generation method and a method for controlling the internal position of a thermo acoustic exchanger are provided to obtain the thermo acoustic generation apparatus which is capable of changing frequency by changing the length of the thermo acoustic generation apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A high temperature unit(100) includes a pre-set length and an internal space. The one end of the high temperature unit is closed. Both end of a low temperature unit(500) are open. A thermo acoustic exchanger(300) connects the high temperature unit and the low temperature unit. A plurality of capillary tubes is arranged in the thermo acoustic exchanger. A heating unit(200) heats a gas which fills the high temperature unit. A cooling unit(400) cools a gas which fills the low temperature unit.
