PURPOSE: A drum type washing machine is provided to enhance washing degree by washing the laundry while falling it by forming a plurality of lifters along the circumferential direction of the inside of the drum. CONSTITUTION: A drum type washing machine is composed of a housing, lifters(20), a drum wrapper, a drum back(17), and a flange shaft(30). The lifters lift and fall the laundry. The drum wrapper is formed in a cylindrical form. The drum back is installed at the back side of the drum wrapper. The flange shaft is installed at the back side of the drum back. The drum assembly is composed of lifters, a drum back and a flange shaft. The drum assembly is integrally molded.
