PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel aromatic 5- or 6-membered heterocycle derivative having a 4-pyridylalkylthio group as a substituent, which is useful as a therapeutic agent for diseases associated with the sthenia of angiogenesis or vascular permeation.

SOLUTION: The compound is represented by general formula [I], where ring A is a pyrazole ring, a furan ring, a thiophene ring, or a tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophen ring; B is an alkylene group; R1and R2are H, OH, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, and the like; X and Y are one or plural groups selected from H, a halogen, OH, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, and the like; p is 0, 1, or 2; and q is 0 or 1.
