<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology suitable for use in enhancing accuracy for adjusting a press forming mold, shortening adjusting time and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A press machine for adjusting the press forming mold is used for correcting the shape of at least either of a punch 1 and a die 2 which are relatively movable. The press machine is equipped with the relatively movable punch 1 and die 2, a distortion amount measuring means 5, a judging means 9 and an output means 10. When at least either of the punch 1 and the die 2 is measured as a target mold, the distortion amount measuring means 5 is mounted at least either in the inside or on the surface of each of a plurality of regions into which the mold to be measured is split, and measures the amount of the distortion of the mold to be measured which occurs during the relative movement of the punch 1 and die 2. The judging means 9 judges whether or not the distortion amount measured by the distortion amount measuring means 5 deviates from the prescribed scope, or whether or not the difference between the distortion amount measured by the distortion amount measuring means 5 and teacher data deviates from the prescribed scope.
