PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of reducing degradation of a feeling of resolution. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus includes a CMOS image sensor 102 in which a plurality of colors of color filters are regularly two-dimensionally arranged, an SSG 104 for adding and reading signals of a plurality of pixels with color filters of the same color arranged on the CMOS image sensor 102, and a CPU 105. The imaging apparatus further includes a phase compensation part 106 for compensating the phase of the signal read from the CMOS image sensor 102. The SSG 104 and the CPU 105 add and read pixels where the distance between the pixels becomes smallest for every color of the color filters, and the phase compensation part 106 executes distinct phase compensation for every color of the color filters.
