PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault in an inverter, which supplies an AC motor with a drive current according to the voltage phase of the voltage of rectangular waves, based on the voltage phase of the voltage of the rectangular waves calculated by a rectangular wave controller.
SOLUTION: A fault detecting unit determines whether the voltage phase ϕv of the voltage of the rectangular waves calculated by a rectangular wave voltage control unit and the phase ϕlimit of a limiter coincide with each other or not (S300). When the voltage phase ϕv and the limiter phase ϕlimit are coincident (YES in S300), a fault counter is incremented (S310). If the fault counter exceeds a predetermined fault determination time (YES in S320), the detecting unit determines an abnormal state where an open failure occurs in the inverter (S330).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
