<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saccharification pretreatment apparatus enabling easy continuous treatment and reuse of ammonia at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The saccharification pretreatment apparatus includes a mixing means 2, a first heating means 3 for heating a mixture of biomass and ammonia, a separation means 4 for separating the biomass-ammonia mixture to ammonia gas and a biomass-water mixture, a transfer means 6 for transferring the biomass-water mixture to a post-process 5, an ammonia water supplying means 8 for supplying ammonia water to the mixing means 2, and an ammonia recovering means 19. The apparatus may be further provided with: a first heat-exchanger 18 to recover heat from the ammonia gas, a second heat-exchanger 25 to recover heat from the biomass-water mixture, and a heat-supplying means such as a thermal medium line 27 for supplying the heat recovered from the first and the second heat-exchangers 18, 25 to the first heating means 3; a second heating means 14; and a wet grinding means 32 positioned between the first and the second heating means 3, 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
