<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device for accurately conveying a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A duplex guide unit 30 extracts a jam sheet by rotation around a hinge pin 33 and by releasing a fixing device 8. A door unit 50 releases reversing paths 27, 28 by rotation around the hinge pin 53. In a process to close the door unit 50, a pressing plate 55 abuts against a receiving part 35 and rotates the duplex guide unit 30 in the closing direction. A conveying roller 41 is fixed to a roller support block 40 which is fixed within the conveying surface of the duplex guide unit 30 in a manner to enable rotation and movement. By inserting a positioning pin 42 formed on the roller support block 40 into a pin hole 52 formed in the door unit 50, the roller support block 40 is rotated, and the conveying roller 41 is positioned in parallel with the conveying roller 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
