PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that with an indirect transfer system among tandem system image forming devices, when forming a pattern for image density adjustment, an intermediate transfer belt and a secondary transfer roller are spaced, and in a standby mode, in order to avoid deformation of members, such spacing is performed, however if desiring replacing toner due to deterioration of the toner, after finishing a job, since a photoreceptor other than black is spaced from the intermediate transfer belt, the unnecessary toner is discharged and removed by performing solid development and photoreceptor cleaning while since the black photoreceptor is not spaced from the intermediate transfer belt normally, the discharged toner is transferred to the intermediate toner, and furthermore to the secondary transfer roller, which may cause the soil on the back of a paper sheet. SOLUTION: For the black toner, when a job command is issued, in waiting time before fixing reloading, the toner is discharged while spacing the intermediate transfer belt and the secondary transfer roller.
