<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin roll type continuous casting method which can produce a cast material while removing the solidified matter of a molten metal stuck to a molten metal supply port, and to provide a twin roll type continuous casting device suitable for the method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The twin roll type continuous casting device is provided with: a pair of synchronously rotating casting rolls 41, 42; and a molten metal supply member 10 for continuously supplying a molten metal LM to the space between both the casting rolls 41, 42. The twin roll type casting device 1 is provided with: a supply mechanism 30 supplying wires 21, 22 (inclusions) to the space between the molten metal supply port of the molten metal supply member 10 and the casting rolls 41, 42. The wires 21, 22 supplied from the supply mechanism 30 are fed out to the casting direction together with the cast material M by the rotation of the casting rolls 41, 42 so as to remove the solidified matter of the molten metal LM stuck to the molten metal supply port 11.
