<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil spreader, always applying clean oil on a frying pan or the like, and preventing a kitchen table from being stained without a receiver when being temporarily placed during cooking. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A bundle of paper bristles is provided on the inside lower part of a handle, the lower slits of the handle are expanded outward to spread oil. The slit corners abut on a kitchen counter, so that the kitchen table is not stained with oil even when the oil spreader is temporarily placed halfway through cooking.
