<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid hitting of a knee of a person to be seated against a support rod, and to eliminate the possibility of catching a finger of an operator between a vertical leg and a tip of the support rod when the operator accidentally grips an upper part of the vertical leg when folding a folding leg. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The folding leg 2 is turnably arranged on a rear face of a top 1, and a rail 3 having a passage 30 is mounted on the rear face of the top board 1. A latching part 31 is formed inside the rail 3, and a locking means 4 which is constantly urged in a closing direction is openably arranged outside the rail. A top part 50 of the support rod 5 is slidably arranged inside the passage 30, and each tip 51 of the support rod 5 is turnably mounted on the folding leg 2. When the folding leg 2 is folded down, the top part 50 of the support rod 5 is latched by the latching part 31, and when the folding leg 2 is raised, the top part 50 of the support rod 5 slides in the passage 30 and is locked by the locking means 4. The spaced opposing vertical legs 20 are connected by a bridging part 21 having a recess 22 formed in the center, to form the folding leg. The support rod 5 is formed into a U-shape.
