The latter electrode is arranged in an electrode cavity (120). The electrode cavity is connected with a measuring gas chamber (112) over a diffusion barrier (122) limiting a gas flow. The latter electrode is heated, and the heating takes place in an inhomogeneous manner. A source of precious metal is arranged in the electrode cavity.</p>
