<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hood silencer disposed on the rear surface of an engine hood from impairing a downward flexural deformation of the engine hood due to a collision load exerted from above. <P>SOLUTION: The hood silencer 2 is clippingly fixed to an outer peripheral part of the rear surface of the engine hood 1 by an attachment through-hole 24 disposed in an outer peripheral part 20 of the hood silencer 2. A slit 25 extending from the attachment through-hole 24 to an outer peripheral edge of the hood silencer 2 and having a narrower width than a shank 31 of the clip 3 is formed in the outer peripheral part 20 of the hood silencer 2. When the outer peripheral part 20 of the hood silencer 2 is subjected to a force P pulling it toward the center in response to the downward flexural deformation of the engine hood 1, a shank 31 of a clip 3 relatively moves within the slit 25 toward the outer peripheral edge of the hood silencer 2 while forcing open the slit 25, thereby canceling the bracing of the hood silencer 2 which becomes resistance of the flexural deformation of the engine hood 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
