<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit an inhibition effect on an illicit action of illicitly taking data by connecting a storage device to a commodity sale data processing device to copy the data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Photographic image data output from a camera on and after detection of connection of a storage device to a port is stored in a storage area together with photographing date thereof, and a photographic image W1 based on the photographic image data stored in the storage area is displayed in an area for displaying various pieces of information related to execution of commodity sales data processing in a display part 105. According to this, since a user recognizes that data for a photographic image of himself/herself is stored in the storage device, the user who connects the storage device to the port to take the stored commodity sales data or the like stops the illicit action.
