APPARATUS FOR MANAGING SENSOR NETWORK BASED ON 6LOWPAN AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing a sensor network based on 6LoWPAN(IPv6 over Low power Wireless Personal Area Network) and a method thereof are provided to enable a remote manager to connect to a sensor network without complicated procedures, thereby enabling the remote manager to collect and manage data. CONSTITUTION: Sensor nodes(10) store parent node tables with priority. The sensor nodes generate a topology using link cost to a sink node(20) and a hop count. The sink node collects data from the sensor nodes. A sensor network managing unit provides information obtained from the sensor node to a remote manager(40).
