PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a current position by using map image data obtained from the outside of a device. SOLUTION: The navigation device includes: setting map coordinates on map images of map image data; setting display coordinates on a display screen 15a of a display 15; relating the current position information of a latitude and longitude obtained from GPS 21 at the time point and respective coordinate positions on the map coordinate and the display coordinate corresponding to the position of a cursor C to make registered point position information by moving the cursor C to a position corresponding to the current position of a user with a map image 16 on the display screen 15a to register a registered point P1; obtaining a contraction scale value Ssr and an azimuth deviation Ash on the basis of the registered point position information concerning a plurality of the registered points; configuring map attached information together with the registered point position information by them; and displaying the current position on the map image 16 on the display screen 15a at a real time on the basis of the current position information obtained from GPS 21 while referring the map attached information.
