PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-railed sliding door device which can reduce a step formed between a door case member and a sliding door body in a closed state. SOLUTION: This top-railed sliding door device makes the sliding door body 20 operated for opening/closing in a suspended state. The top-railed sliding door device makes the sliding door body 20 move in the direction of the door thickness by a moving support member 40 suspending it from its upper side and get into an opening A, while guide protrusions 51, 53 and 54 moved in the closing direction of the sliding door along a protruding rail portion 61 recede into recesses 71, 72 and 73, respectively.
