<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tap for preventing degradation of throughput of PLC communication. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This power plug 50 is composed by including: an injection part 1 arranged on a power source side for supplying power to a pair of power lines 10 and configured to magnetically couple signal lines 3 carrying out transmission/reception of a high-frequency signal to the pair of power lines 10 by ferrite cores 2; a connector 4 for an apparatus to be connected to an external apparatus for superposing and extracting a high-frequency signal on/from the signal lines 3; a power disconnection/connection means 5 arranged in series to a pair of respective power lines 10a output through the injection part 1 for supplying or stopping power to power lines 10b after a surge voltage suppression means 9; the surge voltage suppression means 9 connected in parallel to the pair of power lines 10b; and an outlet part 11 for supplying power with surge voltage suppressed by the surge voltage suppression means 9.
