<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate information precisely representing concrete features of a vehicle traveling route, by processing three-dimensional information representing the vehicle traveling route. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An orthochromatic image generated with an area including a railroad track and having a prescribed spread as a target is processed in a vectorizing engine 2 to generate a three-dimensional vector chain 11 resulting from connecting three-dimensional vectors representing changes in position, direction, and gradient of the track. The three-dimensional vector chain 11 is provided to a track profile generation engine 3, and the engine 3, for each vector, specifies which of right and left curves each vector corresponds to and executes processing of obtaining a curve radius, processing of specifying an attribute of a line/curve in accordance with the curve radius, etc. The three-dimensional vector chain 11 is divided into a plurality of sections on the basis of specified directions and attributes of curves to generate a track profile 13 resulting from aggregating information representing features of the track in respective section.
