<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber ribbon capable of improving quality thereof, without causing the difference in the propagation speeds between longitudinal wave and transverse wave by efficiently suppressing polarization dispersion, and to provide an optical cable. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber ribbon 22 is configured by arraying a plurality of optical fibers 17, 18, 19, 20 in parallel and integrating the optical fibers in the longitudinal direction, wherein the inner side optical fibers 19, 20 are longer than the outer side optical fibers 17, 18, and an optical fiber cable 10 comprising the optical fiber ribbons 22 is also provided.
