<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of coping with different types of image sensors. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A method of executing computers for controlling image sensors includes a step of reading image files having a plurality of data sets respectively related to a plurality of image sensors; a step of identifying the image sensors, when identification data contained in one of the plurality of data sets match the image sensors; and a step of setting the image sensors in accordance with setting data contained in the data set matching with the image sensors.
