<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming structure and an image forming apparatus capable of preventing a developer from being leaked by air flow generated by rotation of an image carrier and a developing member. <P>SOLUTION: A process cartridge 14 includes a rotating image holding body 52, the developing member 108 supplying the developer to the image holding body 52 while rotating in an opposite direction to the image holding body 52, and a developer leakage prevention part 126 preventing the developer from being leaked on a downstream side in a rotating direction from an opposed portion of the image holding body 52 to the developing member 108. The developer leakage prevention part 126 is provided with a space part 132 opening toward the image holding body 52. The developer leakage prevention part 126 is arranged in the shaft directions of the image holding body 52 and the developing member 108, and has at least two wall parts 128 and 130 rising toward the image holding body 52, and the space part 132 is formed between the wall parts 128 and 130. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
