<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver which provides information concerning the existence of printing content and information related to segmented video corresponding to the printing content for users even if printing content included in data broadcast corresponding to a recorded program exists corresponding to arbitrary sections of the program, and to provide a control method of the broadcast receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver records video data and data broadcast data into a recorder. If a module of the data broadcast data is updated, the broadcast receiver determines whether or not there is printing content corresponding to the module. If there is the printing content, the broadcast receiver associates information which specifies the printing content, information which specifies the module and elapsed-time information of video data, and then stores them. Then, the broadcast receiver also associates information which specifies the printing content and information related to segmented video and displays them, and presents a screen to specify content to be printed for users. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
