<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast control system which is rich in convenience and flexibility, and also can utilize contents which are not present in a set-top box by including a plurality of communication means, and furthermore, can be easily operated by a user by using a paper controller with dot patterns printed thereon and a scanner remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a broadcast control system comprising a dot code reader, a first repeater and a second repeater. The dot code reader includes two or more communication means and optically reads dot patterns formed on a medium. The first repeater receives a communication signal from a first communication means and controls a broadcast receiver.
