<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a design (symbol) by smooth oblique lines or curves in a liquid crystal display device of a dot-matrix driving system. <P>SOLUTION: A symbol printed film 13 is disposed between a dot matrix liquid crystal element 12 and a back illumination unit 20 as a light source of a liquid crystal display device. The symbol printed film 13 includes a transparent substrate subjected to printing, and also functions as a diffusion film of the back illumination unit 20 by using a member that diffuses incident light as the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
