PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device with an improved light leakage property is provided to form a blocking layer between a liquid crystal panel and a mold frame. CONSTITUTION: A mold frame(30) receives a liquid crystal panel and a backlight unit. A blocking layer(40) is formed on the liquid crystal panel so that the blocking layer is overlapped at least partially on the space between the liquid crystal panel and the backlight unit. The blocking layer blocks light emitted to the outside through the space. The barrier layer is formed in the space between the mold frame and the liquid crystal panel. The blocking layer is formed between the liquid crystal panel and the mold frame. |
