CAMERA DOOR OPENING AND SHUTTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for opening and shutting a camera door mounted on a cellular phone is provided to reduce the thickness of the camera door by employing shape memory alloy for opening and shutting the camera door. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for opening and shutting a camera door comprises a base(10), a sliding door(20), a first shape memory alloy(30), a second shape memory alloy(40), and a locking part. The base is arranged in the front side of a lens. The sliding door opens and closes an opening of the base. The first and the second shape memory alloy are contracted when applied with current, thereby moving the sliding door in a specific and the opposite direction. The locking part prevents the movement of the sliding door while the sliding door opens or closes the opening.
