<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel protector for a sliding door. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding door 1 having a sliding type opening/closing door 2 is provided with a protector 6 inhibiting an object other than the opening/closing door 2 from entering a moving zone 7 of the opening/closing door 2 before the opening/closing door 2 is opened.
