<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of an inter-cell flow amount distribution in a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: By supplying mixture gas including hydrogen and hydrocarbon gas to an anode and flowing current to the cell stack, hydrogen limiting current characteristics of respective unit cells are measured. Relative ratios of flowing amounts in unit cells are obtained from the ratios of the hydrogen limiting current of the respective unit cells. Even after the hydrogen is entirely consumed by increased current, hydrogen ions are supplied by the hydrocarbon gas, and thereby measurement of the hydrogen limiting current is possible for entire unit cells without damage of the electrodes. Introduction of hydrogen to the cathode prevents the cathode electrode from damage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
