PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user and an administrator in a thin client system. SOLUTION: The thin client system includes: an OS setting means 17a for doubly storing an OS 11 for a client 20 to a server 10, making one first OS11a revisable by the server 10 to set it to be unavailable for the client 20, prohibiting revision of the other second OS11b by the server 10 and the client 20 to set it to be available for the client 20; and an OS updating means 17c for making a second OS 11b whose revision setting is prohibition when all the clients 20 are not in operation revisable and updating it to the same status as that of a first OS 11a.
