WATER-ABSORBING RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorbing resin composition capable of efficiently absorbing a moisture content and being excellent in water-absorption (moisture-absorption) performance. SOLUTION: The resin composition includes a thermoplastic resin (matrix resin) in which a product A×B of water vapor permeability A and a water-absorption ratio B is 10-500 and a water-absorbing material (wherein A is a water vapor permeability of the thermoplastic resin at 40°C and RH of 90% and in thickness of 25μm; and B is a water-absorption ratio of the thermoplastic resin at 23°C and RH of 50% and in immersion for 24 hours).
