PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of correcting the variation of an X-ray beam position even when an X-ray beam is interrupted by a subject or the like. SOLUTION: Shift detectors 204a and 204b for detecting the shift of an X-ray beam irradiation position are provided between an X-ray source 201 and a collimator 203, and a part of the channel of the X-ray detector 205 is utilized as a shift detection channel 205a. Then, when measurement of X-ray transmission data is started, a controller 202 selects either one of the output data of the shift detection channel 205a and the output data of the shift detectors 204a and 204b, calculates the shift position of the X-ray beam on the basis of the selected output data, and corrects the X-ray beam irradiation position by controlling the position of the collimator 203 or the like on the basis of the calculated shift position.
