<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of mixing a material and a liquid by jetting the liquid at a high-pressure in the direction of the rotary center axis in a rotating and stirring apparatus for rotating a boxlike container. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotating and stirring apparatus is configured by rotatably supporting the periphery of a corner part of the upper face of a boxlike container and the periphery of a corner part of the bottom face diagonally corresponding to the corner part of the upper face by rotary shafts having a common rotary center axis and rotates the boxlike box by rotating one of the rotary shafts by operation means. A liquid supply path communicating with the inside of the container is formed through the inside of one of the rotary shafts, and jetting means for jetting a liquid along the rotary center axis from an end part of the liquid supply path of the container is installed to supply a high-pressure liquid to the liquid supply path during the rotation of the boxlike container.
