<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the enhancement of sealing and lubricating performances and reduction of sliding resistance in a sliding part of a compressing mechanism in a rotary compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Recesses 30 are formed in at least one of part 8a facing an inner diameter of a cylinder block 7 in an upper bearing 2, and an upper end surface 6a of a rolling piston 6 which faces the upper bearing 2, and an upper end surface 10a of a blade 10. By the constitution, an oil film is formed by the minute recesses 30 to attain the enhancement of sealing and lubricating performances and the reduction of sliding resistance.
