PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having a memory equipped with an RAM for reading/writing data synchronously with a clock for objectively determining affinity with the memory, and a printing device. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes: an RAM for reading and writing prescribed data according to a signal to be output synchronously with a clock; a memory control part for outputting a signal while changing the output timing of a signal, and for controlling access to the RAM; a determination part for determining whether or not the signal functions normally for the RAM each time the output timing is changed; and an output part for visually outputting the affinity with the RAM by using the determination result.
