<p>A marine marker (1) comprises an upper portion (2) that, in use, projects above a water surface, a lower portion (3) that, in use, is mounted in the water to support the upper portion. A hinge assembly (4) is provided between the upper portion and the lower portion, arranged such that the marker is movable between a mounted configuration in which the upper portion and the lower portion are substantially columnar and a service configuration in which the upper portion is pivoted relative to the lower portion. The hinge assembly may include a plurality of hinges such that a user may select a direction of rotation. Locking means for the hinges are also described.</p> |
