<p>PURPOSE: A reducer for an electric-powered auxiliary power steering system is provided to accurately support a driver's steering wheel operation power by minimizing gap change rate according to the change of rotation torque. CONSTITUTION: A reducer(300) for an electric-powered auxiliary power steering system comprises a worm axis bearing(257), a guide bar(310), a hinge bracket(340), an elastic supporter(330), and a support block(320). The worm axis bearing supports the opposite end of the motor shaft combining portion of a worm axis(254). The guide bar is composed of a pair of first guide bars(313) and a second guide bar(315). The hinge bracket fixes the crossed central part of the guide bar on the outside of a gear housing(260). The support block is connected in order to contract the upper side terminal of the guide bar. The support block supports a worm axis bearing in the direction of the worm wheel with the elastic restoring force of the elastic supporter.</p> |
