FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metal forming, in particular to devices and technologies for straightening of thin wide hot rolled strips. Device for straightening comprises tension stations and pairs of straightening rollers with specified sizes installed between stations. Besides tension station in front of rollers comprises two rolls, and behind rollers - four rolls intended for S-shaped rounding of them with moving strip. Rollers of the first and second pairs and upper roller of the third pair are arranged with identical diametres. At the same time lower rollers of the first and second pairs are displaced relative to the upper ones in direction of strip motion, distances between upper rollers of all pairs are identical. Method of strips straightening prior to etching includes sigh-alternating longitudinal bending and stretching of metal. At the same time when strips of identical width and different thickness are straightened, rollers in each pair are installed with various overlaps along vertical line. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of hot rolled strip steel etching and efficiency of continuous etching lines. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
