Embodiments of the present invention provide adamantyl benzamide derivtives and pharmaceutical compositions comprising adamantyl benzamide derivatives. Methods of use of such compounds and compositions to modulate the activity of 11ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11ßHSD1) in a subject are also provided.
