<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of using LCDs having various power supply sequences without modifying the setting of a VGA-BIOS and a VGA driver. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A delay time of a power supply signal C1 and a display signal C2 is set in a delay setting file 3b. Upon initially starting up the system of the electronic device, the input timing to input the power supply signal C1 output from a VGA controller 4 to an FET 7 in accordance with the power supply sequence stored in the VGA-BIOS is delayed by a delay circuit 5 based on the delay time of the power supply signal C1 set in the delay setting file 3b. Further, an input timing to input the display signal C2 output from the VGA controller 4 in accordance with the power supply sequence stored in the VGA-BIOS to the FET 7 is delayed by a delay circuit 6 based on the delay time of the display signal C2 set in the delay setting file 3b.
