<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the flaw region of a finned tube by a non-contact flaw detecting means which performs non-destructive inspection and to achieve a detection result of high reliability in a short time without relying on the skill of an inspector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device 10 for inspecting the flaw of the finned tube 100 having spiral fins 102 fixedly provided to its outer peripheral surface includes the moving body 18 arranged to the peripheries of the spiral fins in contact with the leading end parts of the spiral fins, drive means 24 and 28 for moving the moving body 18 circumferentially along the finned tube 100, and the non-contact type probe 40 provided to the inner peripheral surface of the moving body 18 in opposed relation to the outer peripheral surfaces between the fins of the finned tube 100. The flaw of each of the thick-walled parts between the fins of the finned tube 100 is measured by the probe while spirally moving the moving body along the periphery of the finned tube 100 using the leading end parts of the spiral fins as guides.
