<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a water pressure detector 17 even when an upstream section of a pressure transmitting passage 29 is frozen, in a structure for mounting the water pressure detector 17 in a water pipe 16, in which the hollow pressure transmitting passage 29 communicated with a paper pipe 16 from a pressure sensor 41 incorporated in the water pressure detector 17, is formed in a mounted state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A heat insulating material 6 is disposed between configuration walls of the pressure transmitting passage 29 and the water pipe 16. The water pressure detector 17 is connected with the water pipe 16 through a metallic socket 25, and the heat insulating material 6 includes a heat insulating tube 60 has a through-hole 62 communicated with the water pipe 16 through the metallic socket 25.
