PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer of simple structure having a plurality of inkjet heads, and allowing printing onto a web-like object to be printed at a high speed. SOLUTION: This printer carries out continuously the printing onto the web-like film base material, and has a base material conveying mechanism, and a printing mechanism, the printing mechanism has a plurality of printing heads, and a printing plate installed opposedly to the printing heads and for supporting a reverse face of the film base material, in the printer, and the printing plate is provided in a position slightly in contact with the film base material, between guide rollers in the base material conveying mechanism.
