Provided is a hull frictional resistance reducing device, in which air blowing-off chambers (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, 13e) having air blowing-off holes (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d, 14e), respectively, are secured to the bottom part (12) of a hull (11). An air supply passage for supplying air into the blowing-off chambers (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, 13e) and a marine life adhesion preventive liquid supply passage for supplying the liquid into the blowing-off chambers (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, 13e) are connected to each other, and opening/closing valves (23, 34) are installed in the respective passages. Any one of the passages is selectively allowed to be communicated, whereby to prevent marine lives can be prevented from adhering to the air blowing-off holes of the hull, and the power consumption for the prevention can be suppressed.
