<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam power generator of high energy efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The steam power generator 1 includes a steam expander 4 converting expansion power of high pressure steam to rotary power, a steam compressor 6 driven by rotary power of the steam expander 4, compressing low pressure steam and discharging the same to a suction channel of the steam expander, and a generator 5 driven by rotary power of the steam expander 4 and generating electric power. Low pressure steam provided by decompressing drain of a steam trap 7 of a demand facility 3 secondarily using steam discharged from the steam expander 4 at a flash tank 8 is supplied to the steam compressor 6.
