<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member for general purpose which can be applied to various types of cars only by changing a form of a sponge section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Inside a fender panel 2, a platform is arranged perpendicular to the fender panel 2, namely perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of a vehicle, to adhere tightly to an inner face of the fender panel 2, a fender apron lower member 3, and a fender apron upper member 4, thereby dividing a space S formed with these plate members in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The seal member 1 includes a substrate 11 attached to the fender apron upper member 4 so that the platform is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle inside the fender panel 2, and the sponge sections 12a, 12b attached to the substrate 11 from both sides.
