<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure travel safety by lighting a part of an LED light source group with a potential of a battery power source without complete extinction of a vehicle lamp even when some sort of abnormality occurs in a control circuit in the LED light source group lit by a boosted voltage by a DC/DC converter, and power supply from the battery power source is intercepted. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting control device, in which the voltage of the battery power source is boosted by the DC/DC converter and supplied to the LED light source group of the vehicle lamp so that the LED light source group is lit, includes an auxiliary power supply circuit which starts power supply to the LED light source group by detecting abnormality when abnormality occurs in the control circuit in charge of switching operation of the DC/DC converter and the boosted voltage is not supplied, and lights the part of the LED light source group with the potential of the battery power source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
