PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner equipped with a blowoff grille capable of suppressing a pressure loss to blowing wind while using a die with a simple and inexpensive structure in resin integral molding. SOLUTION: In the outdoor unit 1 for the air conditioner, a blowoff port 5 for blowing blowoff wind from an axial fan 3 to the outside is provided on a front surface of a casing 2, and a blowoff grille 6 integrally formed of resin material is arranged in the blowoff port 5. A radial lattice 9 composing the blowoff grille 6 has a cross section having an oblong shape along a blowoff direction of the blowoff wind. As an upstream side 9A and a downstream side 9B in the blowoff direction are displaced to the rotational direction, this radial lattice 9 with the oblong cross section is formed to have a shape following a swirl flow of the blowoff wind as a whole, when it is seen from the front surface of the unit.
